Free Two-Day Training Opportunity for Organizations Serving Families

SFCANDO is an initiative of the SF Mayor’s Office, in partnership with other City departments, to improve strength-based, family-focused approach to coordinated case management for youth and families. To that end, SFCANDO is offering a two-day, free training for staff of community-based organizations on June 16th and July 7th. Learn about family engagement tools such as ecomaps and supportive inquiry techniques, recognize cultural issues and role of bias in work, better utilize strength-based and family-focused approaches in your work. First come first serve registration, with priority to organizations working with families in Bayview-Hunters Point and Visitacion Valley.
