Juvenile Advisory Council is recruiting members
The Juvenile Advisory Council (JAC) is recruiting members who are ages 17-25 who have made it through the juvenile probation system in San Francisco.
The JAC meets every 1st Saturday of each month to provide youth coming on to probation and their parents with a workshop about what to expect while on probation. The program is designed to help youth understand their terms of probation, expectations, consequences, laws, and rights from a youth’s perspective.
JAC members also meet with young people as they finish their probation to learn about their experience. Twice a year, JAC members meet with the Chief Probation Officer to provide feedback and advice.
Applications are available here. Please download copy and distribute the recruitment flier.
